The Peek-A-Boo Baby Ponies were introduced in 1987 as part of Year Six of the Generation 1 My Little Pony line by Hasbro. These baby ponies stood out from other baby pony releases because of their movable heads, which allowed them to turn and “peek” in different directions. This interactive feature added an extra level of playability, making them a fun and engaging addition to the My Little Pony lineup.
The head movement was achieved through a simple ball-joint mechanism, allowing collectors and children to pose them in ways that made them appear curious, shy, or playful.
