Vintage Toys & Games

One of the reasons I created this website is because I wanted to share my love for all things vintage (but, particularly, vintage toys). I grew up in the late 90s / early 2000s, so I was lucky to witness the birth of many trends and series that would become classics. This is why the first section of our browse by interest page is dedicated to 1980s and 1990s merch inspired by  TV series, movies, and games:

Anime

Anime is another great interest of mine and one I share with many friends since we were all quite young. This section of anime merch is probably the less complete I have at the moment but I have gathered some gift ideas and products – especially inspired by Studio Ghibli, one of my favorite anime studios (and the people who brought us Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, and many more). Here are some of the animes for which I have selected good merch:

Sci-Fi

Sc-fi. What to add? :) Sci-fi is the perfect remedy for our most human concerns. Luckily, sci-fi is one of the themes for which there is plenty of amazing merchandise and toys. So in this section, you should be able to find plenty of gift ideas inspired by sci-fi series, movies, and games:

Fantasy & RPGs

Another big theme here at RetroGeek Toys is fantasy and roleplaying games (tablet and/or digital). One of the things I have been working on for a long time is RPG (or DnD) props and accessories. But you should be able to find lots of other DnD merch, gifts for your DM, game-inspired products, and much more. All inspired by the fantastical worlds we have come to love:

Other Interests

Lastly, these collections contain all the things I couldn’t classify in the main categories above. I enjoyed doing some science-inspired gifting guides (merch and gifts for geologists, archaeologists, mathematicians, etc). So, if it’s not sci-fi, anime, fantasy, or a vintage toy line, you will find it here:
