Top 10 Saint Seiya Action Figures

Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac, created by Masami Kurumada, is considered by many as one of the best ever made anime series. Serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1985 to 1990, the story follows five mystical warriors who fight wearing sacred armors to defend the reincarnation of the Greek goddess Athena in her battle against other Olympian gods who want to dominate Earth. Here you will find Saint Seiya action figures, T-Shirts, books and much more.

“The flowers bloom, then wither… the stars shine and one day become extinct… This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe some day will be destroyed… Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time.” —  Virgo Shaka

The Saint Seiya 1987 Figures

The original Saint Seiya Knights of the Zodiac vintage figures were first released in 1987 and belong to the first generation of Japanese Saint Seiya toys. These figures measure 5 inches tall and are made of die-cast and plastic. The armor is removable. You can still find many listings for these toys, but the prices vary a lot depending on condition and number of (missing!) pieces.

The Myth Cloth EX & Soul of God Figures

The Saint Seiya Cloth Myth EX line began in 2011 as Bandai’s modernized successor to the standard Saint Cloth Myth figures. Its first release was Gemini Saga, launched in Japan on August 27, 2011. Bandai introduced EX as a completely redesigned system rather than a simple improvement to the old body. The aim was to produce slimmer, more anime-accurate characters whose armor fitted closely while preserving enough articulation for signature attack poses.
