Description
During the 1980s, these Care Bears minifigures, which were small collectible versions of the previously successful poseable Care Bears, were incredibly popular. They are made of PVC plastic and part of the original vintage collectible sets, and can still be found today. The miniature Care Bears had several variations for each character. I have listed these below!
Champ Bear is one of the later-added Care Bears characters from the classic 1980s franchise. In the original Care Bears PVC miniature collections (small figures under about 2 inches tall), Champ Bear is depicted celebrating a win with his trademark trophy-themed belly symbol, and is a rarer collectible compared with many other mini figures. Many of these minis are marked AGC 1985, showing they were produced toward the end of the first vintage runs, and they often appear in poses like standing with a ball or raising his arms in a victory stance.
Champ Bear himself is part of the broader Care Bears family and is all about sportsmanship and fun in games; in later media and toy lines he’s depicted as a confident, athletic bear with a trophy belly badge, teaching that playing with good spirit is more important than just winning.
