Sugar Sweet is an irresistibly cute My Little Pony, part of the Candy Cane collection, known for her love of fluffy, sugary confections. Her pink body is bright and cheerful, while her aqua and white striped mane gives her a soft, cotton-candy-like appearance. Her blue eyes sparkle with joy, and her symbol, a swirl of aqua cotton candy on a yellow stick, represents her fun-loving and carefree personality. Always surrounded by a sweet scent and a giggle, Sugar Sweet loves making life a little bit more magical with every fluffy treat she shares.
She is sculpted in the Moondancer Pose, giving her an elegant yet playful look. She loves carnival days, where she can watch the Ferris wheel spin while enjoying her favorite treat—cotton candy, of course! She’s always thinking of new flavors and colors to make her cotton candy even more fun, and she enjoys surprising her friends with her latest creations. Whether Mint in Box (MIB) or free to roam, Sugar Sweet is a bright and cheerful pony that brings fun and sweetness to every moment.
My Little Pony, launched by Hasbro in 1983, was a beloved toy line featuring colorful ponies with brushable manes and unique symbols, or “cutie marks,” on their flanks. Each pony had its own name and personality, from unicorns to earth ponies and pegasus ponies, inviting kids to immerse themselves in a magical world of friendship and adventure. The toy line was accompanied by animated specials, a TV series, and movies, making My Little Pony a cherished part of 80s and 90s childhoods and a timeless classic for collectors and fans.
The world of My Little Pony is… huge. We’re talking thirteen years of collections featuring all sorts of figures and toys! So, I’ve been working on creating smaller guides to help you navigate this wonderful pastel-colored world. Below, you will find (some!) pages with ponies sorted by year, collection (such as Birthflower ponies, Spanish Piggies, etc), country, and much more. I hope they help!
With 400 pages of G1 ponies, The Unofficial My Little Pony Companion is a deep dive into the world of My Little Pony and the people who created the line.
The book includes custom-made images of thousands of pony variants, graphics, beautiful illustrations, and, for the first time, a comprehensive list of ALL Nirvana (foreign) ponies shown and described in detail—as well as previously unknown details about how ponies were manufactured and distributed all around the world. Restoring My Little Pony is the result of almost three years of restoring and customizing My Little Pony toys for my channel RetroGeek Crafts. The book contains 86 pages full of detailed step-by-step guides, project features, material and technique comparisons, and much more. The book is mostly focused on My Little Pony Generation 1 (MLP G1). However, these techniques can be applied to all other generations, including MLP G2, G3, G4, and even G5.
