Cat Pony is as playful and curious as the feline friend on her symbol. Her soft orange body gives her a warm and cozy look, while her unique white mane transforms into a lovely lavender shade when exposed to sunlight, adding a touch of magic to her appearance. Her symbol, an adorable striped cat with tiny hearts near its nose, reflects her love for companionship and curiosity. With her soft lavender eyes, she watches the world with wonder, always ready to pounce into a new adventure.
She enjoys chasing butterflies, playing hide-and-seek, and curling up in a sunny spot for a cozy nap. Whether she’s exploring new places or simply enjoying quiet moments with her friends, Cat Pony brings a sense of warmth and joy wherever she goes. She reminds everyone that curiosity and playfulness make life more exciting, and that sometimes the best discoveries happen when you let your imagination lead the way.
My Little Pony, launched by Hasbro in 1983, was a beloved toy line featuring colorful ponies with brushable manes and unique symbols, or “cutie marks,” on their flanks. Each pony had its own name and personality, from unicorns to earth ponies and pegasus ponies, inviting kids to immerse themselves in a magical world of friendship and adventure. The toy line was accompanied by animated specials, a TV series, and movies, making My Little Pony a cherished part of 80s and 90s childhoods and a timeless classic for collectors and fans.
The world of My Little Pony is… huge. We’re talking thirteen years of collections featuring all sorts of figures and toys! So, I’ve been working on creating smaller guides to help you navigate this wonderful pastel-colored world. Below, you will find (some!) pages with ponies sorted by year, collection (such as Birthflower ponies, Spanish Piggies, etc), country, and much more. I hope they help!
With 400 pages of G1 ponies, The Unofficial My Little Pony Companion is a deep dive into the world of My Little Pony and the people who created the line.
The book includes custom-made images of thousands of pony variants, graphics, beautiful illustrations, and, for the first time, a comprehensive list of ALL Nirvana (foreign) ponies shown and described in detail—as well as previously unknown details about how ponies were manufactured and distributed all around the world. Restoring My Little Pony is the result of almost three years of restoring and customizing My Little Pony toys for my channel RetroGeek Crafts. The book contains 86 pages full of detailed step-by-step guides, project features, material and technique comparisons, and much more. The book is mostly focused on My Little Pony Generation 1 (MLP G1). However, these techniques can be applied to all other generations, including MLP G2, G3, G4, and even G5.
