Description

The Spanish Piggy Blossom is a unique variation of the classic Blossom pony, featuring the distinctive Piggy Pose exclusive to the Spanish G1 lineup. This version was produced solely by Milton Bradley (MB) and showcased a pink body paired with vibrant blue hair. Known for her elegant design, the Spanish Piggy Blossom adds a touch of cultural flair to the My Little Pony universe.

One of the defining features of this pony is her symbol variations. Spanish Piggy Blossom has been found with two distinct styles of flower symbols: the “cherry blossom” and the “regular blossom,” which can vary in size from smaller to larger designs. These subtle differences make her a fascinating subject for collectors. Interestingly, she is sometimes mistakenly referred to as Perla due to the similarities in appearance between the two ponies.

In addition to the MB version, a second Blossom variant exists in Spain under the name Orquídea, which was produced by both MB and Brekar.

  • Pose: Piggy Pose
  • Body Colour: Pink
  • Hair Colour: Blue
  • Eye Colour: Dark
  • Symbol: Pink flowers, available in “cherry blossom” or regular styles (small and large variations)

More Vintage My Little Pony

My Little Pony, launched by Hasbro in 1983, was a beloved toy line featuring colorful ponies with brushable manes and unique symbols, or “cutie marks,” on their flanks. Each pony had its own name and personality, from unicorns to earth ponies and pegasus ponies, inviting kids to immerse themselves in a magical world of friendship and adventure. The toy line was accompanied by animated specials, a TV series, and movies, making My Little Pony a cherished part of 80s and 90s childhoods and a timeless classic for collectors and fans.
