Description
Bubbles is a Generation 1 My Little Pony introduced in 1983. She features a yellow body, blue mane and tail, blue eyes, and a symbol of light blue and light green bubbles. Notably, Bubbles is one of only two U.S. ponies produced in the sitting pose.
In the animated special “Rescue from Midnight Castle,” Bubbles appears briefly but does not have a speaking role. She is portrayed as a shy pony who enjoys playing in muddy fields and rolling about, covering herself in goo. However, bath time is also a favorite, as she loves chasing bubbles on the wind.
Country Variations:
- Brazil: Two variants exist. Variant I has a yellow body, blue hair, and blue eyes, with a symbol of four blue and five green bubbles. Variant II features a yellow body, blue hair, and blue eyes, with a symbol of three blue and two green bubbles.
- France: Two versions were released. Variant I has a yellow body, blue hair, and blue eyes, with a symbol of four blue and five green bubbles. Variant II features a yellow body, blue hair, and blue eyes, with a symbol of three blue and two green bubbles.
- Italy: Two variants are known. Variant I has a yellow body, blue hair, and blue eyes, with a symbol of four blue and five green bubbles. Variant II features a yellow body, blue hair, and blue eyes, with a symbol of three blue and two green bubbles.
The accessories were a green flower brush and a puffy sticker.
