Description
Moonstone is a Generation 1 My Little Pony introduced in 1983 as part of the Rainbow Ponies collection. She features a pale blue body adorned with a glittery blue planet and silver stars as her symbol. Her mane and tail are striped with vibrant rainbow colors, including shades of pink, yellow, green, blue, and purple, reflecting her celestial theme. In 2018, Moonstone was reissued for My Little Pony’s 35th Anniversary by Basic Fun, with this version being scented.
Internationally, Moonstone was released in several countries, each featuring unique variations. In Italy, she was part of the “Pony Arcobaleno” first set, known as Turchino, with variations in the color of her symbol’s ring. Greek versions of Moonstone included different eye colors, such as blue or brown, and slight differences in body and hair colors. These international versions have become highly sought after by collectors, showcasing the global appeal and diverse representations of Moonstone.
The accessories were a purple comb (shooting star or regular), a pink ribbon, and a puffy sticker.
