Description
Parasol is a Generation 1 My Little Pony introduced in 1983 as part of the Rainbow Ponies collection. She features a pink body adorned with a symbol of glittery purple umbrellas, and her mane and tail display a vibrant array of rainbow colors, including shades of pink, yellow, green, blue, and purple. This colorful hair design, along with her sparkling symbol, distinguishes her within the Rainbow Ponies lineup. Parasol was reissued for My Little Pony’s 35th Anniversary, manufactured by Basic Fun. This version was scented.
Internationally, Parasol was released in several countries, each featuring unique variations. In Argentina, she was produced with a white body, blue hair, blue eyes, and a blue umbrella symbol. The French version maintained the pink body but had slight differences in hair color shades and symbol detailing. Greek variants included different body and hair color combinations, such as a white body with pink hair and a pink umbrella symbol. These international versions have become highly sought after by collectors, showcasing the global appeal and diverse representations of Parasol.
The accessories were a dark turquoise brush, a blue ribbon, and a puffy sticker.
