Description
Seawinkle is a Generation 1 My Little Pony introduced in 1983 as part of the first set of Sea Ponies released in the USA, alongside Wavedancer and Sealight. She features a pastel blue body with lavender hair and matching lavender fin tips, embodying the charm of the early Sea Ponies. Designed for water play, Seawinkle came with a pink seashell-shaped float, allowing her to gracefully glide on water surfaces. Her gentle expression and aquatic design made her a beloved character among collectors and fans of the original My Little Pony line.
In 1987, a variant known as Watercolor Baby Sea Pony Seawinkle was released. This version had a turquoise body and blue hair, which would change to an orange body and turquoise hair when placed in warm water, adding an interactive element to playtime. These variations highlight the brand’s creativity in offering diverse and engaging toys for children.
