Windy is a Generation 1 My Little Pony introduced in 1983 as part of the Year Two Rainbow Ponies set. She is a white unicorn adorned with a glittery purple symbol depicting swirling wind patterns. Her mane and tail are striped with vibrant rainbow colors, including shades of pink, yellow, green, blue, and purple, reflecting her connection to the sky and weather. In 2018, Windy was reissued for My Little Pony’s 35th Anniversary by Basic Fun, allowing both new and longtime fans to appreciate her classic design.
Internationally, Windy was released with variations in different countries. In France, she maintained her white body but featured a mane and tail with different color combinations, such as pink and white. Greek versions of Windy included diverse color schemes, with some ponies having a white body and blue hair, or a pink body with purple hair.
