Raincurl is a My Little Pony Generation 1 vintage toy released by Hasbro in 1990-1991 as part of the Rainbow Curl Ponies collection.
The Rainbow Curl Ponies had manes and tails in four colors that came already curled (similar to the Candy Cane Ponies). They somewhat resembled the Rainbow Ponies, too, but had an additional color and symbols that extended to the entire sides of the bodies.
Raincurl is in the tootsie pose, has fading pink, bright yellow, lavender and aqua hair, pink eyes, and a rainbow sorrounded by purple stars and a pink cloud.
My Little Pony, launched by Hasbro in 1983, was a beloved toy line featuring colorful ponies with brushable manes and unique symbols, or “cutie marks,” on their flanks. Each pony had its own name and personality, from unicorns to earth ponies and pegasus ponies, inviting kids to immerse themselves in a magical world of friendship and adventure. The toy line was accompanied by animated specials, a TV series, and movies, making My Little Pony a cherished part of 80s and 90s childhoods and a timeless classic for collectors and fans.

With 400 pages of G1 ponies, The Unofficial Vintage My Little Pony Companion is a deep dive into the world of My Little Pony and the people who created the line. The book includes custom-made images of thousands of pony variants, graphics, beautiful illustrations, and, for the first time, a comprehensive list of ALL Nirvana (foreign) ponies shown and described in detail—as well as previously unknown details about how ponies were manufactured and distributed all around the world.
Restoring My Little Pony is the result of almost three years of restoring and customizing My Little Pony toys for my channel RetroGeek Crafts. The book contains 86 pages full of detailed step-by-step guides, project features, material and technique comparisons, and much more. The book is mostly focused on My Little Pony Generation 1 (MLP G1). However, these techniques can be applied to all other generations, including MLP G2, G3, G4, and even G5.
