Baby Brightbow is a dreamy and imaginative pony who finds magic in the quiet beauty of the night sky. She has an adventurous spirit, but rather than running through fields or racing the wind, she explores the universe in her imagination, dreaming of twinkling stars, glowing moons, and soft, colorful rainbows shimmering under the light of dusk. Whether she’s listening to bedtime stories, tracing constellations in the sky, or making wishes on the first star of the evening, Baby Brightbow loves the peaceful moments just before the world drifts to sleep.
With her soft pink coat and a flowing mane of turquoise, yellow, and purple, Baby Brightbow is as colorful as a sunset melting into the horizon. Her big blue eyes sparkle with wonder, always searching for something new and magical. The crescent moon and rainbow on her side, surrounded by tiny stars, are symbols of her love for nighttime adventures and her fascination with the vast, mysterious sky. She enjoys curling up on a cozy blanket to gaze at the stars, imagining faraway galaxies and dreamlike landscapes beyond the clouds. Whether she’s staying up late to watch a meteor shower or simply enjoying the peaceful glow of moonlight, Baby Brightbow believes the night is full of endless possibilities.
My Little Pony, launched by Hasbro in 1983, was a beloved toy line featuring colorful ponies with brushable manes and unique symbols, or “cutie marks,” on their flanks. Each pony had its own name and personality, from unicorns to earth ponies and pegasus ponies, inviting kids to immerse themselves in a magical world of friendship and adventure. The toy line was accompanied by animated specials, a TV series, and movies, making My Little Pony a cherished part of 80s and 90s childhoods and a timeless classic for collectors and fans.
The world of My Little Pony is… huge. We’re talking thirteen years of collections featuring all sorts of figures and toys! So, I’ve been working on creating smaller guides to help you navigate this wonderful pastel-colored world. Below, you will find (some!) pages with ponies sorted by year, collection (such as Birthflower ponies, Spanish Piggies, etc), country, and much more. I hope they help!
With 400 pages of G1 ponies, The Unofficial My Little Pony Companion is a deep dive into the world of My Little Pony and the people who created the line.
The book includes custom-made images of thousands of pony variants, graphics, beautiful illustrations, and, for the first time, a comprehensive list of ALL Nirvana (foreign) ponies shown and described in detail—as well as previously unknown details about how ponies were manufactured and distributed all around the world. Restoring My Little Pony is the result of almost three years of restoring and customizing My Little Pony toys for my channel RetroGeek Crafts. The book contains 86 pages full of detailed step-by-step guides, project features, material and technique comparisons, and much more. The book is mostly focused on My Little Pony Generation 1 (MLP G1). However, these techniques can be applied to all other generations, including MLP G2, G3, G4, and even G5.
