Big Box Games: RPG and Turn-Based. Where to Find Them, Best of the 90s and 2000s

There was a time when games came in big, gorgeous boxes. Collecting them has become a retro-hobby that fills many of us with pride (and deprives our tiny abodes of space. Because, yes, big box games take a lot of it!). But what joy exceeds that of being surrounded by items that your nostalgia loves?

Why Big Box RPG Games?

Well… why not? ;) My collection transports me back to a time when acquiring a game meant the rest of your week/month/year might take a completely different turn. Games were difficult to find and costed a small fortune – not that this bit has changed much- but the Internet wasn’t even a thing when some of these games came out, and cover art and manuals were even more precious. Not to mention an RPG game could last you a long time. Finding a good deal on a big-box game brings me as much joy as it did back in the day, when I first laid my hands on Fallout, Baldur’s Gate, Diablo… So, if you can do it, why not give it a go? You can find some classics below, they all link to eBay (we get a little commission if you buy anything, but the price remains the same for you).
