Build, explore, settle and develop your own intergalactic empire with this enthralling card game. To play cards and expand your board, players choose each turn what actions will be allowed that turn. But watch out: choosing an action will also allow your opponents to take that same action with one of their own cards. Predict your opponent’s choices to choose a different action yourself and benefit from both!
Race sports great game mechanics, minimizing the amount of downtime you experience: turns are simultaneous and quick. It can be a bit hard to learn, though: most actions and card abilities are expressed with concise but numerous icons. Those can be overwhelming to a new player.
Below that, though, is a very strategic and variable game. Since you pay for cards with other cards from your hand, you will see a lot of cards during one game, but only actually use a select few of them. Combinations and possible strategies abound: Race is highly replayable. Not for the faint of heart, but a nice and deep game that lasts for about an hour.
