Who gets eaten at night? More importantly, who is doing the eating? Is it the mayor? And who is this mysterious seer who seems to know more about the killings? Miller’s Hollow is haunted by werewolves, and it’s up to the players to eliminate them–or be eaten!
Yes, you need to be with at least eight players in this game, but when you’ve gathered a crowd, this is a great pastime. Players take on the roles of werewolves and citizens of Miller’s Hollow, with the werewolves slowly eliminating citizens until none are left and they win the game. The fun rests in the fact that roles aren’t public, only being revealed after a player is eliminated.
Each ‘night’ (all players closing their eyes), the werewolves ‘eat’ and eliminate one other player. Each ‘day’, after much discussion, the players (among them the incognito werewolves!) will vote for one player to be ‘hanged’. Hopefully, they choose right. The werewolves will have to lie their best to stay alive. If they don’t, the citizens will vote for them to be lynched!
Werewolves spurs great discussion and people lying off the seats of their pants, or be falsely accused of doing so. Remember, it’s just a game!
