Saint Seiya Myth Cloth is a toy-line from Bandai that was originally intended to only release the 5 Bronze Saints for the 12th anniversary of the series and the anticipated Hades Arc OVA in 2003. Since its introduction, the Myth Cloth line-up has expanded to cover almost all the characters in the Saint Seiya universe, gaining positive reviews from old and new collectors. There are lines from the years 2003 to 2014 and some specials such as 5 saints in one set, a 24K gold version of Seiya, and the much appreciated pack of Shaina and Cassios.
The Myth Cloth line-up offers a vast array of armors, representing the different ranks and powers of the Saints. These armors, known as Cloth, are a significant aspect of the Saint Seiya series, and the Myth Cloth figures faithfully recreate them with intricate sculpting, vibrant colors, and metallic finishes.
In 2007, Bandai first announced the project Saint Seiya Myth Cloth Appendix (聖闘士聖衣神話 Appendix). You can find the complete list of Appendix figures here. These figures (as well as the original Myth Cloth) are sought after by fans and collectors alike, allowing them to bring the iconic characters of Saint Seiya to life and showcase their passion for the series.
