My Little Pony Year TEN+: The Complete List

Year 10 (1991–1992) marked the final full year of Generation 1 My Little Pony before the transition into Generation 2 (not counting special and anniversary releases!). Here is the list.

My Little Pony G1 Colorswirl Springy (Vintage)

Year 10 (1991–1992) marked the final full year of Generation 1 (G1) My Little Pony before the transition into Generation 2. This year introduced a wide variety of unique pony sets, many of which featured innovative designs, special themes, and interactive elements that set them apart from previous years. From color-changing manes to mermaid-themed ponies, Year 10 showcased Hasbro’s continued creativity and desire to keep the My Little Pony line fresh and exciting.

Year 10 ponies came in a wide range of styles, from fancy mermaids and tropical ponies to romantic wedding-themed ponies and many ponies featured tinsel hair, UV-reactive manes that changed color in sunlight, or pearlescent finishes.

As one of the last years of G1, some Year 10 ponies are rare and highly sought after by collectors today. So, let’s take a look at the complete Year 10 lineup.

The Sippin’ Soda Ponies were a fun and refreshing set from Year 10 (1991–1992), celebrating the joy of sweet treats, fizzy drinks, and carefree fun with friends. Inspired by retro soda shops, colorful sundaes, and ice cream parlors, these ponies embodied the excitement of sharing cool treats on a warm day.

Sundazzle Ponies

The Sundazzle Ponies were a bright, summery, and playful set released in Year 10, designed to capture the fun and beauty of sunny beach days. What made them extra special was their UV-reactive manes, which changed color in sunlight, adding a magical effect that made them stand out from other ponies. Inspired by tropical vacations, ocean breezes, and warm sunshine, these ponies brought the excitement of summer fun to the My Little Pony world.

My Little Pony Year 10

Colorswirl Ponies

The Colorswirl Ponies were a unique and eye-catching set released in Year 10, featuring bold, swirling patterns on their bodies, making them some of the most distinctive ponies in the My Little Pony G1 line. Unlike traditional ponies with solid-colored bodies, these ponies had striped, multicolored designs that gave them a dreamy, artistic look. Their whimsical patterns and soft, pastel color palettes made them stand out, bringing a fresh and creative twist to the classic pony style.

My Little Pony Year 10

Paradise Baby Ponies

The Paradise Baby Ponies were a tropical-themed baby pony set released in Year 10 (1991–1992), inspired by warm beaches, swaying palm trees, and playful island adventures. With their bright, summery colors and fun, beachy symbols, these ponies brought a little bit of paradise wherever they went. Their designs reflected the joy of sunny vacations, featuring symbols like pineapples, palm trees, and beach balls, making them some of the most cheerful and playful baby ponies in the G1 line.

My Little Pony Year 10

Fancy Mermaid Ponies

The Fancy Mermaid Ponies were a magical and whimsical set from Year 10, featuring a unique hybrid design—the top half of a newborn baby pony and the bottom half of a fish-like mermaid tail. This made them stand out from all other G1 ponies, as they were designed to live in underwater kingdoms, bringing an enchanting mermaid fantasy to the My Little Pony world.
