The My Little Pony Classics – Celestial Ponies are a special subset of ponies within the My Little Pony toy line. Known for their celestial theme and magical appearance, these ponies capture the essence of the cosmos with their unique designs and enchanting features. Together, each embodies the beauty and wonder of the cosmos in their own unique way.
Milky Way is a stunning celestial pony adorned with enchanting features that evoke the wonders of the cosmos. Her body is a soft shade of lavender, reminiscent of the twilight sky, and is embellished with delicate silver accents that shimmer like distant stars. Her flowing mane and tail cascade like ribbons of stardust, trailing behind her in a mesmerizing display of celestial beauty. Milky Way’s eyes sparkle like galaxies, reflecting the mysteries of the universe.
As a celestial pony, Milky Way is believed to possess mystical powers related to the cosmos. She is said to have the ability to navigate the stars and harness the energy of the universe to bring about positive change. Milky Way’s presence is often associated with moments of tranquility and serenity, as she brings a sense of cosmic harmony wherever she goes.
My Little Pony, launched by Hasbro in 1983, was a beloved toy line featuring colorful ponies with brushable manes and unique symbols, or “cutie marks,” on their flanks. Each pony had its own name and personality, from unicorns to earth ponies and pegasus ponies, inviting kids to immerse themselves in a magical world of friendship and adventure. The toy line was accompanied by animated specials, a TV series, and movies, making My Little Pony a cherished part of 80s and 90s childhoods and a timeless classic for collectors and fans.
The world of My Little Pony is… huge. We’re talking thirteen years of collections featuring all sorts of figures and toys! So, I’ve been working on creating smaller guides to help you navigate this wonderful pastel-colored world. Below, you will find (some!) pages with ponies sorted by year, collection (such as Birthflower ponies, Spanish Piggies, etc), country, and much more. I hope they help!
With 400 pages of G1 ponies, The Unofficial My Little Pony Companion is a deep dive into the world of My Little Pony and the people who created the line.
The book includes custom-made images of thousands of pony variants, graphics, beautiful illustrations, and, for the first time, a comprehensive list of ALL Nirvana (foreign) ponies shown and described in detail—as well as previously unknown details about how ponies were manufactured and distributed all around the world. Restoring My Little Pony is the result of almost three years of restoring and customizing My Little Pony toys for my channel RetroGeek Crafts. The book contains 86 pages full of detailed step-by-step guides, project features, material and technique comparisons, and much more. The book is mostly focused on My Little Pony Generation 1 (MLP G1). However, these techniques can be applied to all other generations, including MLP G2, G3, G4, and even G5.
